Hi, Friends,

We have started our LONG trip back. We left Papua this morning on a trip which will last 3 days and 16 hours until we arrive in Albany, NY. Because of inability to get connecting flights or seats we have 3 overnights enroute. We arrived this evening in Bali, fly to Bangkok tomorrow, and can't get a flight out until the next day when we return to the US via Beijing! arriving in Washington, DC too late to get a connecting flight out to Albany until the next day. So it is a LONG trip, but hopefully we will get some rest enroute and be able to hit the ground running at the Mission meetings in New York. I have speaking responsibilities at a seminar for medical people on Saturday morning and Judy and I speak to the College/Career Sunday School class on Sunday. We would appreciate your prayers for these commitments as well as the entire missions conference which has already started.

Our meetings in Papua, Indonesia, with the TEAMers there were well worth the long trip. We got to know the Papua TEAMers in a much deeper way than previously and were greatly encouraged by some of the individual reports of what God has done and is doing there, and by the Indonesian church service on Sunday, as well as moved to continue in prayer for some of the challenges some of the people there are facing. A big item for prayer is the need for many to leave behind their strong animistic ties and strongholds and embrace Jesus Christ as the Only Savior!

Thanks so much for your prayers and support for this trip. We are looking forward to returning to Indonesia/Papua on a yearly basis.
