親愛的林牧師：平安！

再次感謝貴委員會的聖誕賀卡、欣喜的禮物和新聞！

我依然記得上帝的恩典滿滿，祝福我的家人和我在台灣的日子，台灣依然在我的禱告中，願上帝繼續保守祂的教會在寶島的事工。

現在，世界各地的政治動盪並充滿著壓力，願上帝在現在和未來的日子裡保守台灣，賜給台灣人民恩典和平安！

感謝上帝的眷顧，讓我能繼續享受退休生活。雖然我的健康受到白血病的威脅，不過，我有良好的醫療保健，還有來自兒孫和我的妻子蘇珊的鼓勵。這85年多來上帝的恩典遠遠超越了我所應得的！我帶著盼望仰賴著上帝的奇蹟！

願基督的大能與聖神與你們同在，在這神聖的季節以及未來的一年！

Dear Reverend Lin, Peng-an!

Again, your Committee's Christmas Greeting has arrived and gladdened us with gift and news!Thank you!

I remember with thanksgiving the blessed years my family and I spent in Taiwan, and continue to pray for the ministry of Christ through His Church among the people of that precious island.

In this time of political turmoil and stress around the world, may God bring grace and peace to Taiwan and its people now and in the coming days!

Thanks to God and his gracious watchfulness, I continue to enjoy life in retirement. My health is somewhat at risk with leukemia. However, I receive good medical care and much encouragement from my childen, grandchildren and my wife Susan. God has blessed me beyond all my deserving for these 85 plus years! I look forward with faith to God's wonder!

May the power of Christ and the guiding gift of His Spirit be with you all in this Holy Season and throughout the coming year!
