Rev. Ray Adams (An Lé-bûn 安禮文)

Dear Sek-iong

I have just this afternoon received your Christmas letter and gift from the TCCCNA, and wish to offer my sincere thanks for your kindness and generosity at this Christmas season.

The attached photo was taken in July 2009 in Aberdeen ( Scotland ) where my younger daughter, Jessica, graduated in Sociology and Spanish. It was a happy day for us all. She was born only a few weeks after Mandy (my wife) and our other two children, Louise and Chris, left Taiwan in 1985. Although she was not born in Taiwan , Jessica was “Tai-oân-chè ê”. A few weeks after her birth I returned to Taiwan on my own for a further year to complete my commitment to Tainan Theological College’s Department of Church Music, and to bridge the period before Loh I-tō bok-su was able to return to Taiwan full time in 1986.

We continue to watch developments in Taiwan with great interest and concern, and hold all our friends and colleagues in our prayers.

I have been back in local ministry since the beginning of this year – looking after three churches in North London . Two of these are quite small, but have many challenges and opportunities as we seek to discover our mission in this very strange post-modern secular society in which we live in Western Europe .

Please send greetings from Mandy and myself to all friends in the TCCCNA at this Christmas season, with prayers for peace in the world and in all our hearts in the coming year.

Peng-An With good wishes

Ray (An eacute;-bûn)
