Dear Sek-Iong
I am writing to thank you and the TCCCNA for your kind Christmas gift to my wife, Mandy and myself. It is very good to be remembered in this way and in return we offer our prayers and blessings to all members of the TCCCNA as together we continue to be concerned about the future of Taiwan and the mission of the Presbyterian Church within it.

As you said in your letter ( and as we have observed on the tv news) the people of Hong Kong are going through traumatic and turbulent times, and one cannot help but watch carefully the Chinese mainland's response, with a view to their possible future response to developments in Taiwan.

I attach our Christmas letter to family and friends describing our condition now that I have retired and my wife has a progressive condition related to Parkinson's.
