Dear Rev. Sek Iong Lim 再次感謝你來自TCCCNA非常慷慨的聖誕禮物。謝謝您們協會以如此體貼的方式來關懷自台灣退休的傳教士。 很高興收到TCCCNA和台灣以及傳教士的消息信，雖然主要是傳遞傳教士過世的消息。彌迪理牧師的身體還好，但有嚴重的老年癡呆症，加上他必須坐輪椅，也使得他動彈不得。他目前住在一間設備很好的養老院，在那裡得到很好的照顧，我每天去探望他。 我們還記得台灣，特別是即將來臨的選舉，我們會在祈禱中記念那裏的教會和信徒。 祝福 2012年 Susan Beeby |
Dear Rev. Sek Iong Lim, Many thank yours once again for the very generous Christmas gift from TCCCNA. The members of the association are very kind and generous to give to all the former missionaries in this way. It is humbling to be on the receiving end of such thoughtfulness. It is interesting to receive the news letter and to hear of former missionaries - although it is mainly to hear of their passing. Dan is physically quite well but has severe dementia and is wheelchair-bound, being immobile. He is well cared-for in the nursing home where I visit him daily. We remember Taiwan, particularly with the election coming up and pray for the Church and its witness. Blessings in 2012, Susan Beeby |
