Dear members of the TCCCNA committee,

Once again, I would like to thank you for your kind love gift which has just arrived. Your generosity and respect for retired missionaries to Taiwan is inspiring.

It is hard to believe that it is coming on for 14 years since my husband Dan died but it is wonderful that he is still remembered by those who knew him. I have been blessed this year not to be much affected by Covid restrictions but continue to be cautious. We are so blessed to have vaccines and medical support when needed and I continue to pray for greater sharing of these resources with needier countries. I do hope that you yourselves have not been badly impacted.

While travel is not on my agenda for now, I have amazing memories of being hosted so marvelously when Dan and I visited the States in 2001 for the assembly. Of course one memory is of being taken to the top of the North Tower just months before its destruction. - So much kindness was shown to us, just as when we/Dan made return visits to Taiwan once he was no longer persona non grata.
