親愛的林牧師

我收到您的問候信以及來自TCCCNA慷慨的禮物，非常的高興。我常常想念你們以及您們為上帝所做的善工，為此我感謝讚美主。

我很抱歉這封遲來的信。很不幸，最近我一直在生病，先是胸部感染了幾個星期；然後是帕金森病的併發症，在過去六個月中有3次住院記錄，最後一次是上禮拜。在Chichester 我們擁有很優秀的醫院，高水準的醫療服務。對一個在六月即將滿94歲的老人，我非常滿意，在朋友們的幫助之下，我仍然能夠獨居。

想到在台灣度過的那一段日子，我總是覺得很開心，我想念島上的人民和教會所有的兄姊，我渴望聽到關於你們的消息。

請向TCCCCNA成員呈上我最溫暖的問候以及衷心的感謝。

Dear Lim Bok—su,.

It was a very real joy to receive the greetings from the Taiwanese Christian Church Council of North America, and, as you will know, I am deeply appreciative of the kind and generous gift which was enclosed with your letter. I do think of you all and of the splendid ministry Which you continue to give, and I give thanks for you all.

I am sorry that this letter to you is so delayed but, unfortunately, I have been ill recently, first with a chest infection which went of for several weeks, and then for a complication of Parkinson’s Disease which has meant three admissions to hospital in the past six months, the last one was last week. We have an excellent hospital though here in Chichester and I have received wonderful care. I shall be ninety four years old in June and thankfully I am still able to live on my own — with help from friends.

I think always of the very happy years I spent in Taiwan and I remember the people of the island and most of all the members of our church and I long to hear news. Please give my warmest greetings to the members of TCCCCNA and my sincere thanks.
